Manchester United remain active in the market after seeing a £70m bid for Harry Maguire rejected this week, with Leicester City informing them that it will take £90m to sign the England defender.
United have also been offered Gareth Bale in a swap deal for Paul Pogba, with the Spaniard’s eager to offload the former Tottenham star. Arsenal meanwhile have infuriated Crystal Palace with their pursuit of Wilfried Zaha, but the Gunners could be about to lose Alexandre Lacazette to Atletico Madrid as a replacement for Barcelona-bound Antoine Griezmann.
Liverpool meanwhile have suffered a blow in their interest in Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele, while United are also showing interest in Dinamo Zagreb youngster Dani Olmo.

Tottenham have made the biggest splash of the window so far with club record signing Tanguy Ndombele following Leeds' Jack Clarke through the door in north London as Mauricio Pochettino looks to rebuild his Champions League finalists. Champions Manchester City are set to splash plenty of cash too with Atletico Madrid's Rodri set to arrive imminently with a move for Juventus right back Joao Cancelo also a strong possibility.
The summer transfer window closes in the Premier League on Thursday 8 August.

Breaking: Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Wolves forward Helder Costa on an initial season-long loan deal which will become a permanent transfer next summer.
The 25-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at Elland Road after spending three years with Wolves, where he became the club's record signing.
The Portuguese international will wear the number 17 shirt and becomes Leeds' fourth summer signing after Jack Harrison, Ben White and Liam McCarron.
Sky Sports has reported that Manchester City are set to exercise a £5.3million buy-back clause to bring former left-back Angelino back to the Etihad.
The Spaniard left City last season to join PSV in the search for more first-team football after seeing his path blocked by Benjamin Mendy, Oleksandr Zinchenko and the deputising Fabian Delph.
However, Mendy's injury issues and Zinchenko's desire to play in his preferred midfield position, has seen City exercise the clause to bring in a specialist left-back for a minimal fee.
A host of other European clubs, including Arsenal, had been tracking the 22-year-old's progress but they would of had to pay a fee of around £20m to sign the youngster.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær has identified Lyon's Moussa Dembele and Lille's Nicolas Pepe as potential replacements for wantaway striker Romelu Lukaku, according to the Evening Standard.
Lukaku, 26, wants to leave Old Trafford with Inter Milan his preferred destination however the Italians have failed to meet United's £80m valuation of the Belgian thus far.
If Lukaku does move on, United plan to use the funds raised to launch bids for the Ligue 1 talents.
Transfer confirmed: Championship newcomers Luton Town have confirmed the signing of Brendan Galloway on a free transfer from Everton.
The 23-year-old becomes the Hatters' fourth summer signing and leaves Everton having made 21 first-team apperacnes for the club.
Galloway, who was born in Zimbabwe, has spent time on loan at West Brom and Sunderland in recent seasons and worked under Luton manager Graeme Jones when he was on the coaching staff at Everton.
Man United appear to have missed out on the signing of Lyon starlet Rayan Cherki.
L'Equipe claim the France Under-16 international is set to sign his first professional contract.
Jean-Michel Aulas reportedly saw it as a priority to keep the attacking midfielder, 15, with Real Madrid also thought to have been interested.
Sheffield United have completed the signing of Luke Freeman on a three-year deal from QPR.
Freeman has been on of the Championship's most consistent performers in recent seasons and joins on an "undisclosed club record fee"
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder said Freeman has been in their sights for a while.
"Luke gives us balance off his left foot. His stats add up and all the eyes we've had on him have come back with glowing reports," he told the club's website.
"He's one of the best players in the Championship and he can play in a number of positions. Luke is ideal to complement what we already have at the club, I think he will be a good fit for us."
Transfer confirmed: La Liga outfit Sevilla have broken their transfer record to sign Bordeaux's Jules Koundé for €25m.
The 20-year-old centre-half played 51 games for Bordeaux last season and has now signed a five-year deal with Sevilla.
