Manchester United fell to Crystal Palace as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side began their Premier League campaign one week late on Saturday.

Palace took the lead through Andros Townsend after just seven minutes, and they doubled their advantage on 74 minutes when Wilfried Zaha netted a re-take from the penalty spot after David de Gea stepped off his line when saving Jordan Ayew’s initial effort.

United debutant Donny van de Beek came off the bench to pull one back for the hosts, but Zaha bagged his brace with five minutes remaining at Old Trafford to put the result beyond doubt. Re-live all the updates below:

The three newly promoted teams, West Brom, Leeds and Fulham have conceded 22 goals between them in just two weeks. This could be a long season if they don;t shore up their defences.
