Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in June to win the Champions League for a sixth time. The Reds have meanwhile won the Super Cup more than any other English side with three wins, with their last title coming in 2005, when they beat CSKA Moscow 3-1 in the Netherlands.
Chelsea, who beat Arsenal to win the Europa League last season, are looking to win the Super Cup for the second time. Their only previous success came when they beat Real Madrid 1-0 in Monaco in 1998. Follow the latest updates below:

75 mins: van Dijk blocks a shot from Kovacic before picking out Salah perfectly with a long ball. It comes to nothing though as Chelsea defend well.
Here come the subs. Abraham and Mount come on for Chelsea with Giroud and Pulisic going off.
Oh my word! Liverpool have a corner that comes to Salah, he shoots and Kepa pushes it away, only as far as van Dijk who boots it back at the goal but the Chelsea keeper recovers and makes another save, pushing the ball up onto the crossbar!

78 mins: Henderson puts a ball into the box for Liverpool, looking for an arriving Robertson but Azpilicueta holds firm and heads the ball away.
He messes up moments later by bringing down Mane and getting a yellow card for his efforts.

81 mins: Mo Salah takes the free kick but a deflection takes the ball over the bar for a corner. Salah takes that as well but doesn't beat the first man.

Mason Mount makes a great run in behind Liverpool's high line, he brings down the ball, shoots and finds the back of the net.
But he's offside and that goal doesn't count either.

87 mins: Tomori comes on for Christensen. He'll have some work to do as this game is going to go to extra time.
Henderson pushes Emerson to the floor and is shown the yellow card. Chelsea's free kick is taken by Mason Mount who plays it into Azpilicueta who is offside.
Mane misses a big chance for Liverpool at the other end of the pitch but he gets a reprieve as he was offside too.

90 mins: Mount puts a good corner into the box but Zouma can't control the header and sends it out of play. This game is going to go to extra time and probably penalties.
