Marcelo Biela’s side enjoyed a promising start on their return to the top flight, however, back-to-back defeats prior to the international break served a reminder of the challenges to come. Ten points from eight games is hardly disastrous, though, and in Patrick Bamford Leeds boast one of England’s most prolific strikers on current form.

For all Mikel Arteta’s sweeping changes at Arsenal, they are still a side afflicted by wild swings of inconsistency. Their fabulous victory over Manchester United sent spirits sky-rocketing but a horrendous thrashing by Aston Villa proved why Arsenal remain very much a work in progress. They begin the game in 14th place and need a strong series of results to bolster their top four credentials. Follow all the action below live:
Defeat today would mean that Everton would lose four consecutive Premier League matches for the first time in 13 months.
It would also be the first time in Carlo Ancelotti's managerial career that he has lost four league games in a row.
However, the Toffees could earn three successive victories in London for the first time since 1987 if they win.
Fulham vs Everton (12:00) is the first of four Premier League games we’ll be covering today. It is the only one to be broadcast live on BBC One with Sheffield Utd vs West Ham (14:00), Leeds vs Arsenal (16:30) and Liverpool vs Leicester (19:15) all being shown on Sky Sports.
Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson faces his old club today. The 23-year-old came up through the Everton youth system before loan spells at Bolton and Wigan.
He joined Wigan permanently in 2019 but left in the summer to join Fulham after the League One side was forced into administration.
Now he’s fired up to face his old club again saying:
Richarlison’s return is huge for Everton. They have not won a Premier League match without the Brazilian forward since he joined in 2018 with four draws and four losses in those eight games.
The 23-year-old has just finished a three match suspension and Everton lost every league game in his absence.
TEAM NEWS - CHANGES
Fulham make two changes from the side that lost 1-0 to West Hame last time out. ivan Cavaleiro and Mario Lemina both come into the side with André Zambo Anguissa and Aleksandar Mitrovic dropping to the bench.
Richarlison is back for the Toffees in one of four changes to their starting XI. Alex Iwobi, Ben Godfrey and Yerry Mina all return with Mason Holgate, Seamus Coleman, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bernard making way.
From all the meetings between these sides in the Premier League the respective home side has won the most games. The team playing at home has won 23 times out of 28 meetings.
Fulham have only beaten Everton 14 times in all top-flight meetings and every one of those victories have come at home.
The most recent encounter ended 2-0 to Fulham at Craven Cottage in April 2019.
EARLY TEAM NEWS
Fulham’s Aboubakar Kamara is still banned but Mario Lemina may make an appearance after missing the last game through injury although his fitness is still being monitored.
Everton have some good news despite captain Seamus Coleman being ruled out due to a recurrence of a hamstring injury
James Rodriguez, Yerry Mina, Allan and Richarlison are available after taking part in South American World Cup qualifying.
Fabian Delph is also back in contention after missing the last game due to injury.
After a bright start to the new season, which saw them unbeaten through the first four fixtures, Everton have slumped in form over recent weeks by losing their last three league fixtures to Southampton, Newcastle and Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Fulham are really struggling. They’ve only picked up points against West Brom and Sheffield United, with one win and one draw in eight games.
Both teams need a change in fortunes but who will rise to the occasion today?
