From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Follow all the action as Leeds United host Arsenal in the Premier League this afternoon.

Marcelo Biela’s side enjoyed a promising start on their return to the top flight, however, back-to-back defeats prior to the international break served a reminder of the challenges to come. Ten points from eight games is hardly disastrous, though, and in Patrick Bamford Leeds boast one of England’s most prolific strikers on current form.

For all Mikel Arteta’s sweeping changes at Arsenal, they are still a side afflicted by wild swings of inconsistency. Their fabulous victory over Manchester United sent spirits sky-rocketing but a horrendous thrashing by Aston Villa proved why Arsenal remain very much a work in progress. They begin the game in 14th place and need a strong series of results to bolster their top four credentials. Follow all the action below live:

Fulham 2 - 3 Everton

90+3 mins: Tom Davies has looked bright in the last few minutes. He’s tried to get the ball forward for Everton and into the corners but too often he’s been left on his own. Everton’s saving grace is that the zip seems to have gone from Fulham’s play.
