Frank Lampard was satisfied with a goalless draw against Sevilla, Chelsea’s main rivals in the group, but knows his side must get a victory against the Champions League newcomers here if they are to assert themselves in the competition.

12 mins: Barcelona are steadfast in playing out from the back despite Juventus’ high press. Jordi Alba is almost caught in possession but he gets it to Lenglet who boots the ball up the pitch. A warning sign for Barca.
9 mins: Pjanic comes off in a 50-50 challenge with Morata. The Juventus man leaving a little too much on Pjanic’s right ankle.
Messi sends the ball out to Jordi Albe on the left wing. He slips it into the box for Gonzalez who wins a corner off Demiral.
6 mins: Demiral shoves Messi over on the edge of the box but the Argentinian isn’t awarded a free kick. Morata is then cleaned out in the middle of the pitch going for an aerial ball. Free kick to Juve.
3 mins: Szcezsny’s into the action straight away, he’s forced into a diving save as Juventus can’t clear their own lines. The rebound falls to Griezmann and his shot is tipped onto the woodwork by a recovering Szcezsny.
Kick off: Barcelona start the match and send it up the pitch. Demiral takes hold of the ball but he’s pressured by Griezmann. He passes it into the box blind and gives it to Messi, he shoots and wins a corner.

90+4 mins: Full time. A pretty easy win for Frank Lampard’s Chelsea in the end. Krasnodar put up a decent fight in the first half despite Callum Hudson-Odoi’s opener but they were ran off their feet towards the end. Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech got their first European goals for the club and a blistering cameo appearance from Christian Pulisic topped things off for Chelsea.

90 mins: GOAL! He really is prolific. Tammy Abraham collects a pass over on the right side of the box . He shrugs off a tackle and squares it to Pulisic. He shoots and nutmegs the goalkeeper to put the icing on the cake for Chelsea.
