England are into the Women's World Cup semi-finals after a hugely impressive win over Norway in Le Havre.

Goals from Jill Scott, Ellen White and Lucy Bronze were enough to secure the Lionesses safe passage into the final four and a match up with either hosts France or holders USA in Lyon on Tuesday.

Here's how it played out:

Norway 0 - 1 England

9 mins: An England corner is played deep to Bronze who puts the ball into the box searching for Bright but her cross is too heavy and Hjelmseth grabs hold of the ball.

Norway quickly move the ball to the other end of the pitch and win a corner of their own but Millie Bright heads it clear when the ball comes into England's box.

Norway 0 - 1 England

18 mins: Fran Kirby wins the ball with a strong challenge on Saevik. England try to attack down the right hand side again but Norway have people covering. The Norwegians come shooting forward with the ball but Millie Bright uses her strength to push Hansen off it. Houghton clears.

Norway 0 - 1 England

21 mins: That's the one. Houghton played it up to Scott completely nullifying Norwary's mid-field. Scott sends it out to Parris who runs the ball into the box, cuts inside and shoots with her left-foot. The shot isn't the best and it goes over the bar.

Norway 0 - 1 England

24 mins: England break with Ellen White taking the ball forward and holding onto it long enough for Lucy Bronze to get forward. Norway regain their shape and England can't get the ball into the box and are forced to send it back to their defence.

Jill Scott loses the ball and Hansen bombs forward in a break of her own, he shoots but has her shot blocked by a backtracking Scott.

Norway 0 - 1 England

27 mins: Norway have responded well since the goal. They've asked a lot of questions from England and have got into some decent areas. England need to stay switched on but for now they're keeping the Norwegians at bay.

Norway 0 - 1 England

30 mins: OH Ellen White!

So close to a second goal for England. A throw in comes to Parris on the inside right, she dinks the ball over the Norwegian centre-back and into Ellen White who fires off a shot and hits the far post!

Norway 0 - 1 England

33 mins: Norway play the ball quickly past Bright and have a chance on goal with Reiten. Demi Stokes comes across and blocks the shot before the ball bounces up and hits her hand. VAR doesn't get involved though and England may have got away with one there.

They win a free kick at the other end of the pitch that Duggan puts into the box but England give make a foul and Norway have the ball.

Norway 0 - 1 England

36 mins: Saevik sends the ball to Herlovsen but Bright intercepts and gives it back to Bardsley. Bardsley's tough is heavy and Herlovsen puts her under pressure but she scrambles and boots the ball out of play.

That's just an example of England slacking in their levels of concentration. Norway have shown that they can be dangerous so England need to keep their levels high.
