From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Ziyech has failed with a couple of searching balls in the last couple of minutes and looks visibly frustrated. This has been a typically disciplined Sheffield United performance so far, although they were in a similar situation away at Liverpool, so it’s not particularly surprising.

Norwood whips a free kick into the box and Mendy comes out to claim it. He’s been beaten for the first time in the Premier League, though there was very little he could do about it.

Chelsea were the last team Sheffield United beat in the Premier League, of course. McGoldrick scored twice in that 3-0 victory at Bramall Lane.

GOAL! Chelsea 0-1 Sheffield United (McGoldrick)

Sheffield United take a short corner, working the ball to Baldock in space on the right. His ball across finds Berge, whose low shot is diverted home cleverly from close range by McGoldrick. He scores against Chelsea again, and the visitors lead!

Baldock latches onto a ball over the top of Chilwell, who gets in the way of the right-back’s attempted shot. It deflects behind for a corner, which Silva emphatically heads away.

Chance! James’ low cross is flicked on by Abraham and runs through to Chilwell at the back post. He fires in a shot from a tight angle, which Ramsdale saves. Ziyech then blazes a shot over the bar.
