Over the break it was one of their stars in Jack Grealish who was making all the headlines, shining with England and quickly becoming a favourite of the national team’s fans.
Domestically, Villa have won five of their seven games so far and a win will take them level with Leicester City, who went into the break top of the table.

United climb to the dizzy heights of ninth with that win. They’re above Manchester City, but Solskjaer needs something to change drastically based on tonight’s performance. Against better teams they would have been punished.
West Brom were unfortunate tonight, but their struggle for points continues. They still have just three to their name, and stay in 18th place.

That’s it! United get their first home win of the Premier League season, but it’s not one they’ll celebrate for long. A questionably awarded Fernandes penalty is the difference between the teams, but West Brom had a penalty decision overturned by VAR a few moments before. The visitors will feel aggrieved, while United will feel relieved.
