Since then it has been very tough going for Brendan Rodgers’ side, thrashed before the international break by Spurs and unable to add to their squad in any meaningful way over summer, despite a couple of key departures.
As for Forest, their return to the top flight meant a very busy transfer window and more than 20 new signings - but Steve Cooper’s side have managed just one win themselves so far and sit one place, and three points, above Leicester. A win would, however, take them out of the bottom three tonight.

Forest have been that bad tonight; it is a surprise to see Cooper stick with the same starting XI. They have only created one opportunity all evening, and they need a huge response in the second half to have any chance of drawing level.
