Northern Ireland welcome Austria to Belfast in what is effectively a dead-rubber in Group B3.

Northern Ireland will want to reclaim some pride nonetheless as Michael O’Neill’s side are yet to register a point, and are already guaranteed.

Austria drew 0-0 with runaway Group B3 Leaders Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday, but a squad that includes Bayern Munich’s David Alaba will want to finish off their Nations League campaign with a win. Follow it live:

Good afternoon and welcome to The Independent's live coverage of Northern Ireland against Austria in Group B3.

This is a dead rubber with Northern Ireland already relegated and Austria firmly in second behind Bosnia and Herzegovina, but an intriguing game nonetheless.

No Marko Arnautovic then for the visitors this evening.

A big miss, but still plenty of quality in their side, most notably utility-man David Alaba.

Austria's 0-0 draw with Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday ensured the group will finish with the three teams in their current positions.

10 minutes until the game gets underway at Windsor Park.

Northern Ireland have had a fairly wretched campaign and Michael O'Neill's men will be keen to salvage some pride with victory today.

Anthem time in Belfast.

There appears to be a healthy contingent of travelling Austria fans.

A minute's applause ahead of kick off to honour the life of longtime Northern Ireland kit man Derek McKinley who sadly passed earlier in the week.

Kick off is imminent.
