From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Norwich City host Chelsea at Carrow Road hoping to find a way past the Premier League champions and into the FA Cup fourth-round hat.

After a slow start to the season and stories of player unrest, Daniel Farke has managed to steady the ship and has Norwich perched in the middle of the Championship, and arrive in this fixture with unbeaten in their past three games.

Antonio Conte comes into this one amid a storm of flying accusations between himself and his Manchester United counterpart Jose Mourinho, and no doubt will be relieved that the focus returns to the football.

Will Chelsea leave Norfolk with their FA Cup hopes intact? Find out with our liveblog below:

Norwich's Grant Hanley heads the ball under pressure from Pedro

43' - That's great play.

Alex Pritchard spins away from Gary Cahill on the edge of the box with a lovely flick before whipping a cross in towards Josh Murphy at the far post. Davide Zappacosta gets to the ball in front of the Norwich winger though and puts the ball behind for a corner, which comes to nothing for the hosts.

45' - James Maddison shimmies past Danny Drinkwater before shooting from 25 yards but the Norwich forward's effort flies over the crossbar.

We'll have two minutes of added time at the end of this opening period.

Half-time - Norwich 0-0 Everton

The referee brings the opening period to a close and we are level at the break. Chelsea will need to improve massively after the break if they are to get the win here.

46' - We are back underway at Carrow Road.

48' - Close! Kenedy whips a delicious cross in from the left wing and Davide Zappacosta meets it at the far post. The Italian tries to cut his header back to Willian but the ball is cut out by a Norwich defender before it reaches him.

Chelsea's Pedro laughs after a decision doesn't go his way

53' - Willian drives forward for Chelsea down the right wing before cutting the ball back to Danny Drinkwater, whose shot from inside the box goes well wide of the far post.

That was a decent chance for the Premier League champions.

56' - Good save.

Willian skips past Christoph Zimmermann before rifling a shot at goal. Angus Gunn gets down well to his left though and tips the ball behind for a corner, which comes to nothing for Chelsea.

58' - Chelsea have looked far better since the interval and Willian is the clear danger man.

The Brazilian has just had another effort at goal after skipping past a couple of defenders but his effort was straight at Angus Gunn.
