Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Danny Cowley and his Lincoln team will aim to "achieve the impossible" again when they take on Burnley this weekend but the Imps boss believes their FA Cup run - whenever it ends - will stand the club in good stead for the future.
Cowley has guided National League leaders Lincoln to the fifth round for the first time in 130 years and at Turf Moor on Saturday they will attempt to become the first non-league side to reach the quarter-finals since the competition's current format was instigated in 1925.
Lincoln City have no fresh injury problems but Lee Beevers remains out with a long-term knee injury.
Burnley are without Robbie Brady and Jeff Hendrick for their FA Cup fifth round clash against National League leaders Lincoln.
Brady is cup-tied having played for Norwich earlier in the competition, while Hendrick serves the second match of a three-game suspension.
Steven Defour (hamstring) is still out and Johann Berg Gudmundsson is fit to return, while the likes of Jon Flanagan, James Tarkowski, Tendayi Darikwa, Scott Arfield and Sam Vokes can all expect recalls.

How their fortunes have differed since.
Fans of the National League leaders have descended on Turf Moor in their numbers this afternoon...
Turf Moor is buzzing as the two sides make their way on to the pitch. Eighty-one places separate Burnley and Lincoln City in the league pyramid. For the next 90 minutes, they are head-to-head.
KICK-OFF: Last weekend, Burnley hosted seven-time FA Cup winners Chelsea in the Premier League. This afternoon, it's a Lincoln City side hoping to become the first non-league side to reach the quarter-finals since Queen Park Rangers in 1914.
3 mins: It's a scrappy start at at Turf Moor and that will suit Joey Barton; nobody enjoys a scrap more than the Burnley midfielder. The experienced battler is seeing plenty of the ball so far.
5 mins: The non-league side should be ahead! Tom Heaton rushed a kick forward when put under pressure, and when it was returned with interest, Nathan Arnold beat the offside trap. The forward squared to Jack Muldoon in the middle, only for the unmarked number seven to side-foot over the crossbar at the first time of asking. A big chance!
9 mins: Joey Barton gets clattering from Lincoln's huge target man Matt Rhead. Indeed, the Burnley midfielder takes a meaningful look around from his position on the turf, perhaps pondering retribution, only to decide against it on spotting the six foot four figure of the visiting striker.
