Tottenham’s hopes of lifting the Premier League title have well and truly faded following recent results, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side are still very much alive in the Champions League. They beat Borussia Dortmund home and away in last season’s group stage, and Spurs take a healthy lead to the Westfalenstadion after they ran out 3-0 winners at Wembley three weeks ago.
Second-half goals from Son Heung-Min, Jan Vertonghen and Fernando Llorente have left the Bundesliga table toppers with a mountain to climb. Follow live coverage of the second leg from Dortmund below.

Alcacer and Sancho link up in Spurs' box and win a corner. Guerreiro sends it through and Witsel puts the ball back into the six-yard box, Weigel heads it on and Lloris makes a sharp save. Wiegel has a second chance but Davies blocks it.
Another corner comes in for Dortmund and finds Reus on the edge of the box, he hits it and Sanchez gets a deflection. Gotze has a shot now and Lloris makes another save pushing the ball wide of goal.
36 mins: Dortmund 0 - 0 Tottenham
What a passage of play. Dortmund threw everything at Spurs and they managed to hold out. Sancho comes alive though and fires a shot from the right side of the box and Lloris makes another save.
39 mins: Dortmund 0 - 0 Tottenham
Tottenham win a free kick close to the halfway line and they boot it forward towards Son and Kane. The two link up and win a corner. Eriksen whips it into the box but Wolf hits the ball into Alderweireld and the ball goals out for a goal kick.
42 mins: Dortmund 0 - 0 Tottenham
Spurs once again let Dortmund have plenty of time on the ball, they're happy to sit back and try to make it to half-time.
There's a mini break here for the visitors though as Winks wins the ball and sends it up to Harry Kane, Kane feeds it to Aurier out wide and they keep hold of the ball for a couple of minutes.
45 mins: Dortmund 0 - 0 Tottenham
Better play from Tottenham to close out this half. They keep hold of the ball and win a throw in in Dortmund's half, Aurier gives it to Kane who wins a corner. Eriksen puts the corner into the box but Reus heads it away.
2 minutes added on to the first half.
45+2 mins: Dortmund 0 - 0 Tottenham (0-3 agg)
Tottenham see off Dortmund for the first 45 minutes. They still lead by three goals but Dortmund have been knocking on the door and it's still standing.
HALF-TIME
Dortmund 0 - 0 Tottenham (0-3 agg)
As expected Borussia Dortmund have thrown everything at Spurs in the first 45 minutes and are unlucky not to have at least one goal to their name. Son had the best chance for the visitors but the match is still goalless and with only 45 minutes left in the tie Tottenham are looking good for a quarter-final place.
Real Madrid 0 - 2 Ajax (2-3 agg)
There's a real belter happening at the Bernabeu as Ajax have scored two cracking goals and overcome a goal deficit to lead the tie. There have been chances at both ends but Real Madrid have failed to find the net as of yet. Expect more of the same in the second half.
