At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

GOAL! Monaco 1-1 Tottenham (Kane, 52 min)
Kane converts from the spot to level the score and hand Tottenham a lifeline. Dele Alli had been initially brought down by Kamil Glik after poking the ball past the defender with a neat first touch inside the box. Kane stepped up to fire to the right and although Subasic managed to get a hand to it, it wasn't enough to deny the striker's effort.
GOAL! Monaco 2-1 Tottenham (Lemar, 53 min)
Oh dear, oh dear. Monaco hit back immediately to once again dash Tottenham's hopes. It was the left-back this time as he timed his run to perfection to meet Silva's ball from the right flank. The delivery sailed high above the box to land for Lemar on the left who pulled his shot across the face of the goal to pick out the bottom right-hand side corner.
57 min: Yellow for Falcao. He arrived late on Wanyama inside the Monaco final third to earn his way into the referee's book.
60 min: Son squanders another chance in front of goal. After Trippier's free-kick delivery into the box, the forward pounced on the loose box as it zipped between a box full of scrambling bodies. From five yards out he swung at the ball but couldn't make full connection allowing Subasic to push his effort away with ease.
63 min: Silva springs into life to weave his past a number of Tottenham players inside the opponents' final third. He manages to get the ball onto the left and lets loose from the edge of the box but Lloris is on to hand to deny Monaco a third.
65 min - substitution: Heung-Min Son comes off for Vincent Janssen and Mousa Dembele makes with for Christian Eriksen.
68 min: Wow, that was out of this world. Hugo Lloris may have just pulled off the save of the decade! The ball was whipped in behind the Tottenham backline from a Monaco free-kick on the left and it was Glik who got there first to stick out a dangerous leg. The ball bolted down Lloris' throat from five yards out, forcing a snap reaction from the Frenchman as he leapt backwards to push the ball up and over the post.
71 min: Corner for Tottenham. Dier rises highest and gets in a dangerous-looking effort at the near post but Mendy gets his body in the way to deny the Englishman.
75 min: Lloris is covering himself in glory tonight as once again pulls off another heroic save. It was Falcao with the shot from inside the Tottenham box but the French keeper wasn't having any of it. Stretching to his right, he got two firm hands to the shot to push away the ball and keep Spurs' hopes alive.
81 min: Monaco are trying to slow the pace of the game now as they attempt to shut up shop. They're camped deep inside Tottenham's final third on the left and eventually work the ball to the baseline where Trippier sticks in a foot to knock the ball out for a corner. It's pumped in but headed clear at the front post.
