Post-match reaction from Wijnaldum and Mane

Gini Wijnaldum: "We started well. We finished our chances well and scored the goals early. That made it easier for us. We made a few mistakes after going three up but in the second half we did good."

Sadio Mane: "I think we played good football. The performance was great and we created many chances. Today is amazing and we're happy."

Post-match reaction from Jurgen Klopp

On Liverpool's performance: "Nobody could imagine that the game would go like this. We knew it was an all-or-nothing game. Spartak is a really good side, they're difficult to play but we opened the game in the perfect way. We got the penalty and from this moment on we didn't have to defend anymore. It was a nice night at Anfield."

On who he wants in the last 16: "I don't mind. Usually I always get Real Madrid so we will see what happens! We have no preferred opponents, we're just happy to go into the next round and when the next year starts it will be really nice. After a long time, Liverpool are back."
