What time does it start?

The match kicks off at 7:45pm on Tuesday 8th May

Where can I watch it?

It will be shown live on BT Sport 2 with coverage beginning at 7pm. Highlights will be shown at 00:00 midnight the same evening.

It’s a big game for…

Kylian Mbappe. The 18-year-old forward has quickly transformed from Monaco’s young star to the man who represents their best chance of success in Turin. Having conceded two away goals, Monaco will need to go for broke in attempt to take an early lead against the Italian champions, and it is Mbappe’s pace, skill and goalscoring prowess which gives his side the best chance of doing that.

Best stat

Juventus have won all of their last eleven knockout ties against French opposition.

Player to watch...

Leonardo Bonucci. The centre half is central to Juventus’ famed defensive record, which has seen them concede just 23 goals in 35 domestic games and, unbelievably, only two in a Champions League run which includes keeping a clean sheet over two legs against Barcelona. He is outstanding both physically and technically, with the ability to prioritise defensively but provide a platform with his passing. Monaco have an uphill task overturning the two goal deficit with Bonucci and Co. in their way.

19 mins: Really good work from Monaco. Mbappe shuffles past Marchisio in the middle of the pitch and skims a pass out wide to Mendy, who spots the run of Falcao and hits it first-time into the box.

But again, Monaco's front-line is thwarted by the Juventus defence. Chiellini heads the ball away for a corner, and then clears the set-piece for good measure.

22 mins: And now it's Juve's time to go close!

The ball is played through to Dybala, who looks to run in behind off the shoulder of Mendy, but he slips as he's about to go through on goal.

No matter: Higuain collects the ball and bursts through one-on-one and tries to elegantly float a shot over the advancing Subasic.

It beats the keeper ... but he doesn't quite get enough on his attempt, which gives Glik the time he needs to scamper back and boot the ball off the line.

24 mins: Juventus go close again! But this time it's Subasic who comes to their rescue. Mandzukic is played through and tries to shoot low past his compatriot, but Subasic stands tall and beats the ball clear.

26 mins: Juventus are looking more lethal with every passing minute...

Monaco need a goal and they need it quick.

28 mins: How are Juventus not leading this second-leg!

This time, it's a simple one-two that completely bypasses the Monaco defence. Pjanic bursts forward, exchanges passes with Dybala and, suddenly, he's one-on-one.

He goes to pull the trigger ... but his shot is charged down by a sliding Raggi: superb defending!

Subasic catches the subsequent corner.

31 mins: Better from Monaco, who win a corner on a rare counter-attack forward. But Moutinho's deep cross is well claimed by Buffon.

There's also some breaking news regarding a certain Juventus player...

GOAL! Juventus 1 (3) Monaco 0 (0) Mandzukic '33

It's all over, surely. Dani Alves angles a lovely ball into the box, aimed at Mandzukic at the back post. His initial header is well saved by Subasic, but the forward has no trouble slamming the rebound past him and into the net.

GOAL - NO!

Dani Alves again! The full-back wins the ball in the middle of the park and spots the run of Higuain. One gorgeous slide-rule pass later and the Argentinian is clean through on goal. He confidently rolls the ball under Subasic and into the net butttttt...

The flag goes up. Offside. Just.

Vithushan Ehantharajah9 May 2017 20:23

37 mins: Monaco need to sort themselves out here. They're looking very ragged in the middle of the pitch.
