60 min - substitution: Mahmoud Dahoud comes off for Jannik Vestergaard.
61 min: With the City defence sat as high as it is, the Germans have started to resort to the long, desperate ball over the top in the bid of exploiting the space in behind. Newcomer Vestergaard launches his effort down the left flank in the hope of picking out Raffael but he over-hits it and Bravo comes to claim.
63 min: Another red card! This time it's Fernandinho who's shown his marching orders. It was a suspect second yellow card that Guardiola isn't happy about at all. It looks like the player may have deliberately knocked into Strobl as he made his way back into position but the Borussia player certainly doesn't seem to have made anything of it. What an odd decision...
67 min: De Bruyne flashes into life as he drifts inwards from the left and lets loose a fire-cracker of a shot on goal that forces the Borussia keeper into a fantastic reflex save.
69 min - substitution: Raheem Sterling makes way for Bacary Sagna.
71 min: Another card, but not a red this time. Raffael dives in on Gundogan with a dangerous tackle, studs on show. He made no attempt to play the ball and is deservedly shown a yellow.
73 min: Navas pokes through a neat through ball which Gundogan rushes around the Borussia left-back to meet before firing a low-driven pass across goal. It fizzes through the box but there aren't any City players within the vicinity to simply tap the ball in. The visitors are really cranking up the pressure now.
78 min: Corner for City. It's powered in to the front post but Christensen was on hand to nod the danger clear.
78 min: Another corner, another chance for City with just under 12 on the clock. They go short as Navas seeks out Silva at near the front post with a ball along the deck but his control is off allowing the Borussia defence to get a foot in. They struggle to clear and Navas pounces, firing in a decent effort from the tightest of angles on the right.
84 min - substitution: Raffael comes off for Andre Hahn.
