Barcelona looked down and out after losing the first leg of their last-16 tie 4-0 against Paris St Germain in February, but produced a remarkable 6-1 second-leg triumph last month to reach the quarter-finals of Europe's premier club competition.
They gave themselves another mountain to climb as they suffered a crushing 3-0 loss to Juventus in Turin last Tuesday in the first leg of the last-eight meeting, but their past form would suggest they cannot be written off just yet.
It’s a big game for…
Dani Alves: The Brazilian right back, who moved from the Nou Camp to Turin last year, helped keep former team mate Neymar quiet in the quarter-final first leg on April 11 as Juventus won 3-0 at home.
And ahead of the second-leg Alves remarked that should they win this evening, they will be eliminating the best team in the world from the Champions League. No pressure, then.
Remember when…
Ten-man Juventus booked their place in the Champions League semi-finals with a dramatic extra-time victory over Barcelona.

Odds
Barcelona: 10/21
Draw: 19/5
Juventus: 21/4
20 min: Chance for Messi! Stood dead-centre in the Juventus box, he meets a deflected delivery from the left and takes aim at the bottom right-hand corner. It's off target, though, and fizzes inches past the post to run out for a Juve goal-kick.
Elsewhere...
Monaco 2-0 Borussia Dortmund: The French side are already leading by two goals after just 18 minutes. Goals from Mbappe and Falcao have made it 5-2 on aggregate and seemingly secured victory for the home side.
24 min: Dybala breaks cover to meet a ball from the left but Ter Stegen had read the situation well and was on hand to stop the forward threatening. Even if the Argentine had reached it in time the flag was up for offside. Barca ball.
27 min: Barcelona hit back and enjoy another spell camped outside the Juventus box as they search for a way through. Suarez eventually ends up with the ball on the penalty spot but struggles to turn himself to face goal. Chiellini steps in to dispossess the forward who lashes out in anger and concedes the foul.
31 min: Messi releases a stinging shot on goal that takes an awkward deflection to throw goalkeeper Buffon. He struggles to hold on it and ends up pushing the shot to his right and into the path of Neymar. The Brazilian follows Messi's effort with his own rocket of a shot but the angle is too tight and he can only find the side-netting.
35 min: Barcelona corner. It's swung in from the left but nothing comes off it and Juventus regain possession.
37 min: Neymar breaks down the left again to reach the Juventus byline before cutting the ball back into the box. There's no-one on hand, though, and his delivery sails harmlessly across the goal-mouth.
40 min: Bonucci cuts out a dangerous in-swinging delivery from Messi to deny Suarez a sniff at a goal. A Barca corner follows but once again they struggle to make anything of it. Juventus goal-kick.
41 min: Iniesta is shown the first yellow of the game for his late challenge on Cuadrado.
44 min: Messi and Pjanic both challenge for a high ball but it's the former who ends up falling, quite literally, onto his face. Neymar comes barging in to avenge his fallen team-mate but only ends up getting shown a yellow card. That's him out of the semis (if Barca make it). Foolish and reckless.
