Barcelona suffered an emphatic 4-0 defeat in Paris two weeks ago but outgoing coach Luis Enrique is confident his side can “score six” to advance in what would be the most remarkable second-leg comeback in the history of the competition.

No team has ever overturned a 4-0 first-leg deficit and Paris Saint-Germain won’t give up their advantage easily at the Camp Nou.

Barca have been off the pace this season, leading to Enrique to confirm he would leave at the end of the season, but they were back to their best on the weekend, scoring five goals against Celta Vigo – the amount that is required on Wednesday night.

Team news…

Barcelona have new injury worries for what could be Enrique’s final Champions League as their manager, with only defenders Jeremy Mathieu and Aleix Vidal remaining sidelined.

PSG have received a triple boost ahead of the game with midfielders Adrien Rabiot, Angel Di Maria and Thiago Motta all available and have travelled to Barcelona after recovering from their respective injuries.

Player to watch…

Lionel Messi. There are goals that need to be scored for Barcelona and Messi will be the centre of everything on Wednesday evening. Luis Suarez and Neymar will work off him but with the hosts needing at least four goals to take the game to extra time, you can be sure Messi will be in full attacking flow to ensure it happens.

Barcelona have progressed past the round of 16 in each of the last nine seasons, the longest run ever in the competition. The last time they failed to reach the quarter-finals was in 2006-07 against Liverpool.

PSG to win: 19/5

Draw: 19/5

85 min: Turan picks up play from Mascherano on the right flank, cuts inward to lose his man and whips in an in-swinging ball in search of his team-mates. Marquinhos asserts himself though and nods the delivery clear.

86 min: Chance for PSG! Di Maria found himself through on goal, with only the keeper to beat but, amazingly, ended up fluffing his lines. His effort soared over the bar as he crumpled into a heap inside the Barca penalty box.

GOAL! Barcelona 4-1 PSG (Barcelona, 88 min):

What. A. Goal. From a free-kick to the left of the PSG box, up stepped Neymar to deliver a moment of magic. Lifting the ball up and over the wall, the Brazilian curled the ball into the top left corner, out of reach of Trapp, to hand Barca hope!

PENALTY to Barca!

GOAL! Barcelona 5-1 PSG (Neymar pen, 90 min):

I can't quite believe what I'm seeing but Barcelona are now just one goal away from pulling off mission impossible. Neymar came together with Marquinhos inside the PSG box as the pair sought to meet a searching ball over the top, but it was the Brazilian who ended up crashing to the deck. The ref pointed to the spot, handed Marquinhos a yellow, and Neymar did the rest. Five minutes to go...

GOAL! BARCELONA HAVE DONE IT!

Thee greatest story in Champions League history? What an incredible night at the Nou Camp. 6-1! Sergi Roberto was the man who got it! More to follow on the goal...

FULL TIME: Barcelona 6-1 PSG

They've only gone and done it. What a night. I can't quite believe what I'm seeing. Barcelona have defied the odds to clinch a stunning victory at the Nou Camp, fighting back from a four-goal deficit to book their spot in the last eight of the Champions League.

Three late goals from Neymar and Sergio Roberto proved to be the difference after Cavani's second-half goal appeared to dash all hopes of a fightback. But Barca refused to roll over, throwing everything they had at their opponents, fighting to the very last second.
