Write them off at your peril - Haaland, Mbappe, Bellingham will star in UCL says Ancelotti

Paris Saint-Germain produced a stunning comeback on a thrilling night in the Champions League to dump Barcelona out at the quarter-final stage 6-4 on aggregate.

After the first leg Barcelona brought a one-goal lead into the match and opened the scoring in the night with a fortuitous touch from Raphinha beating Gianluigi Donnarumma at the near post.

PSG looked to get back in the game and were gifted the initiative after a mistimed challenge from Ronald Araujo saw the defender sent off inside the first half and hour.

That red card changed the momentum of the match and Ousmane Dembele took advantage to pull PSG level on the night before a long-ranged strike from Vitinha equalised the aggregate scores.

The visitors then won a penalty in the second half with Kylian Mbappe calmly slotting in home before putting the icing on the cake with Paris’ fourth in 89th minute.

49 mins: An awkward one for Ter Stegen as Hakimi’s effort bounces just in front of him. The German just about parries the ball over the bar for a corner which Barcelona defend.

HALF-TIME: Barcelona 1-1 PSG (4-3 agg.)

It will be an uphill battle for the hosts in the second half but Barcelona do possess a good Champions League record when going down to ten men. In the 16 games when they have picked up a red card, they have lost just three games (W9 D4).

Whether they can continue that against a star-studded PSG side is another question entirely.

PSG have been the better side and got their deserved equaliser after 40 minutes after Dembele slammed home at the back post.
