At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

66 min: A raft of changes have rather disrupted the flow here. Chelsea on the ball but there's not much happening.
70 min: Lacazette on. Aubameyang off. Will they be paired together this season or is it one or the other?

83 min: Lovely save by Caballero's teenage replacement, Marcin Bulka, who dives well to his right to keep out Alex Iwobi's strike.
86 min: Reiss Nelson manages to dribble the ball off the field. Not a moment to remember.
90 min: Loftus-Cheek gets the final pass wrong as Chelsea looked certain to hurt Arsenal on the counter-attack. Still Chelsea lead 1-0, with just added time to come.
