Luton Town squandered a three-goal lead to lose 4-3 at Bournemouth as they blew their chance to climb out of the Premier League relegation zone.
It looked so good for Luton on an emotional night as first-half goals by Tahith Chong, Chiedozie Ogbene and Ross Barkley put them in complete control on the south coast.
Bournemouth were booed off at halftime but were stung into action immediately after the break when Dominic Solanke struck and they were level before the midway point of the second half thanks to goals by Illia Zabarnyi and Antoine Semenyo.
Luton were reeling and there was a sense of inevitability about Semenyo netting the winner in the 83rd minute.
The game was re-scheduled after the initial fixture was abandoned after 59 minutes in December when Luton captain Tom Lockyer suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch.
Lockyer was present on Wednesday and received a standing ovation before kickoff as he met the medics who saved his life.

Sinisterra jinks and twists at the other end and does enough to earn a corner off Kabore. Scott plays it in but it's a poor corner and Kabore deals with it at first man.

The goal has put a spring in Luton's step here. Kabore plays a beautiful ball in from the right towards Morris, who can't quite get enough contact on it and it's diverted behind for a corner that Sinisterra of all people heads clear.

Well, it's fair to say that wasn't following the pattern of the game but it's a huge goal for Luton. The question is can they build on it? Three points here would be monumental at this stage of the campaign.

Ogbene gets down the right and finds Kabore, whose little layoff to Clark is dinked towards the back post where the unmarked Chong heads into the goal from close range. Luton 1-0 Bournemouth.

Whether by design or just the way the game is shaping up, Bournemouth are clearly trying to target the right-hand side of the pitch. That is where their early attacks have been launched. As for Luton, well it's hard to say because they haven't seen an awful lot of the ball thus far.

Semenyo makes something happen down the right, the winger swings in a left-foot cross that Solanke skews wide with the header. He might feel he could have done a little bit better there.

Luton have as many as nine senior pros out injured for this fixture. It really is a testament to Edwards how well they've competed this season. It's been a pretty sedate start here, as you might have expected.

Lockyer has been introduced to the crowd and there's a lovely ovation from all four sides of the Vitality Stadium as the 29-year-old shakes hands with the medical staff who helped save his life and fourth official Simon Hooper - who was the referee in the abandoned game. A lovely moment.
