Luke Campbell challenged the sensational Vasyl Lomachenko for the world lightweight title at the O2 Arena on Saturday night.

Lomachenko remains considered the number one fighter in the world by many but Campbell provided the Ukranian with arguably his toughest test to date in the lightweight division so far.

The undercard was packed with action, including Alexander Povetkin against Hughie Fury, with the Russian prevailing in a unanimous decision victory.

Luke Campbell walked to the ring with cheers from all around the arena and Lomachenko walks after, with an almost silence of awe around the O2.

We are moments away.

Campbell is given a huge cheer from the home crowd, while Lomachenko is booed by the faithful Brits!

Not something he'll be too used to, will that play into the fight? Probably not, no.

Here's a nice pic of Loma making his way to the ring.

Round one:

Not to be a fanboy, but you can literally see the genius of Lomachenko unfolding as the seconds pass. He takes his time to work out what Luke Campbell is trying to do and what he wants, constantly moving his feet back and forth.

Campbell has kept patient and is using his good timing, landing the only real shot of the fight with an overhand left to the head. With that being the only punch, that's a Campbell round.

10-9 Campbell.
