From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao delivered a dominant performance to earn a unanimous decision victory over Adrien Broner on Saturday in Las Vegas.

The 40-year-old Filipino multiple world champion was quicker and more accurate as he controlled each round and cruised to the triumph over Broner, 29, who fought gamely and stayed upright despite being hit with several heavy combinations.

Retired great Floyd Mayweather attended the fight, fueling speculation of a rematch against Pacquiao. Undefeated Mayweather beat Pacquiao in 2015.

In case you're trying to find some dodgy stream to watch the full fight back, there's no point ... you can watch it for free in high definition.

Floyd Mayweather co-promoted the fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather.

Whether the rematch happens or not, one way or another, the five-weight world champion remains in Pacquiao's world.

It wasn't all negative from Broner after the fight, he sent a pretty nice message to his good friend Tiffany Haddish, who asked a question in the press conference.

Away from boxing (ever so slightly), Conor McGregor has seemingly accepted his next bout.

Marcus Browne, who comfortably beat Badou Jack on last night's undercard, has dared Teddy Atlas to put him up against Oleksandr Gvozdyk.

He thought he was going to take me to deep water and drown me, but I was in shape. Teddy Atlas, you think you have the best light heavyweight? Gvozdyk, let’s go.

I just used my athletic ability and did what I do best, and that’s box the hell out of people.

Manny Pacquiao beat Adrien Broner by unanimous decision at the MGM - and has lost just once since his 2016, a controversial defeat to Australia's Jeff Horn.

At 40-years-old, what next for the Filipino senator?

With a legion of support like his, retirement doesn't look in sight just yet.
