WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao delivered a dominant performance to earn a unanimous decision victory over Adrien Broner on Saturday in Las Vegas.

The 40-year-old Filipino multiple world champion was quicker and more accurate as he controlled each round and cruised to the triumph over Broner, 29, who fought gamely and stayed upright despite being hit with several heavy combinations.

Retired great Floyd Mayweather attended the fight, fueling speculation of a rematch against Pacquiao. Undefeated Mayweather beat Pacquiao in 2015.

RD 6: 5-1 Pacquiao

Pacquiao increases the tempo in round six, charging in aggressively and lands a big left hand to Broner's mid-riff. The Filipino is clearly targeting the torso in an attempt to slow Broner's feints.

But then just before the final bell Broner lands a sharp right-hand uppercut on the counter which snaps Pacquiao's head back. That will give the American confidence, but it still wasn't enough to steal the round.

RD 7: 6-1 Pacquiao

More success for Pacquiao who's simply outworking Broner - he's already thrown over twice as many punches.

But suddenly Pacman bursts into life! A straight left-hand catches Broner clean and he's rocked! Pacquiao pours on the onslaught throwing lightning combinations but Broner simply stands still with a high-guard covering his face before clinging on in desperation. He was hurt badly there but remember Broner has never been stopped in his career.

RD 8: 7-1 Pacquiao

Pacquiao builds on the past round, imposes his dominance but can't quite pin Broner down this time. He's persistently chipping away at the body though with the jab and short left-hands and Broner is noticeably tiring. The counters have lost their zip and there's not a whole lot coming back to keep Pacquiao cautious anymore.

Here's that seventh round onslaught from Manny Pacquiao.

RD 9: 8-1 Pacquiao

And after a more pedestrian start to the round, Pacquiao catches Broner clean with a big left-hand that shakes him badly. That punch has knocked many another fighter out.

Cue the rampaging onslaught of handspeed again from the Filipino. There's not enough time left in the round though.

RD 10: 9-1 Pacquiao

Pacquiao took his foot off the gas a bit in that round after the whirlwind prior, but it's another easy point. He knows he's closing in on victory but he's still pushing for the stoppage.

RD 11: 10-1 Pacquiao

More of the same there really. Pacquiao seems happy to see this one out on points now. Broner has basically receded into survival mode, offering sparse counters, and inviting the pressure as he pivots away around the ring.
