From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Dave Allen beat Lucas Browne in the main event of what was an entertaining night of boxing, earning his biggest career victory to date.

The two heavyweights earnt the main event slot after Dereck Chisora—who defeated Senad Gashi in an underwhelming co-main event, graciously gave it up.

Elsewhere, Josh Kelly returned from injury with a shutout win against Przemyslaw Runowski, Joe Cordina beat Andy Townend and Conor Benn kept his unbeaten record going.

Senad Gashi is in the ring!

Here comes Dereck Chisora and he's getting quite the ovation.

This is Chisora's first fight under trainer David Coldwell.

Will the new team get Chisora back to winning ways at the O2?

Round one:

After a quite incredible welcome, the bell rings and we have a fight. What's clear is Chisora has put some weight back on after shedding the pounds for December's fight against Dillian Whyte.

Chisora is the dominant man here and Gashi looks intimidated, falling to the ground as he tries to evade a shot. No knockdown.

The pair are here for a scrap and Gashi, the colourful character that he is, runs around the ring and does so with a smile on his face.

Not much landed in the first but Chisora constantly backed him up and as the fight goes on, it looks as though the difference in class will tell.

Chisora acknowledges his vast support en route the ring.

Round two:

One thing Gashi is doing well is not letting Chisora get too close to him, but Chisora keeps walking forward and is throwing out of range.

Gashi isn't actually landing much back, so it's a second round to Chisora.

Round three:

Chisora throws the right and lands but doesn't follow much up. It's a tentative start from him so far as Gashi manages to land a couple of his own straight lefts.

Chisora seems to be leaving his guard wide open. Must be a confidence thing.

I'd give that a 10-10.

Round four:

Chisora isn't showing much respect to Gashi here, leaving himself wide open but is getting a reminder now and again he is in a fight.

It does feel just one or two big rights away from the final bell though.

Chisora ends the round putting his jab to work and takes the round.

Round five:

A mixed round, Chisora just isn't letting his hands go just yet but is still having plenty of success. Every time he lands clean it looks like Gashi is hurt but he's going nowhere just yet and his a few of his own punches to throw back.

Round six:

The work rate from Gashi is his most impressive asset thus far, especially considering the amount of punishment he's actually taking.

He keeps coming forward, trying to hold but it's all Chisora still. Can't give a round to Gashi yet.
