Anthony Joshua suffered the first defeat of his career in one of heavyweight boxing's biggest upsets as short-term replacement Andy Ruiz Jr knocked him down four times before claiming a seventh-round TKO victory.

In what completely shakes up the heavyweight scene, Joshua loses the WBA, WBO and IBF titles that almost certainly ends his chances of facing either Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder in the near future, and jettisons Ruiz onto the biggest stage of them all.

Joshua looked to be on course for a simple victory when he knocked Ruiz down in the third, but the Mexican-American responded by knocking Joshua down twice in the same round, before adding another two knockdowns in the seventh round when the fight was waved off. Relive all the action.

Katie Taylor vs Delfine Persoon round 10:

WHAT A ROUND!

Taylor looks absolutely out on her feet as both women throw relentlessly but it looks like Persoon is the woman who stole that one, in the best round of women's boxing I've EVER seen.

I give that round to Persoon, making my scorecard 96-95 to the Belgian.

What a shock that would be.

KATIE TAYLOR BECOMES UNDISPUTED LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION!

Katie Taylor looks almost embarrassed to be crowned winner, but she takes home the WBC title and adds it to her collection to become undisputed.

A devastating night for Persoon, who on most people's cards won the bout.

Whether deserved or not, Katie Taylor is the undisputed lightweight champion.

Katie Taylor speaking after her fight

I definitely felt like I did enough. I thank God for a great victory tonight. I showed great heart in there tonight. It was a very, very close fight but I felt like I did enough. She was a great, great champion.
