Your support makes all the difference.Jill Scott has addressed nude photos of her that were leaked as part of a large-scale hacking which targeted over 100 celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence and Kim Kardashian.
The singer has verified one of the images, tweeting that it was taken to document her weight loss process.
She claimed that the second image was a fake.
“I def took the 1st pic w/ a robe; weight loss chronicle but the 2nd, sorry freaks, is not me,” she tweeted. “I wish I had that space between my thighs.”
Naked pictures of numerous celebrities, including Kirsten Dunst, Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice, Cara Delevingne and Rihanna, were published on website 4Chan on Sunday 31 August by a hacker who is currently being investigated by the FBI.
She followed the post with a second tweet, which didn’t offer much empathy for other victims of the incident.
The hacking was allegedly enabled by an iCloud leak.
The anonymous hacker also admitted that he or she is unhappy with the amount of money obtained from circulating the stolen photographs.
“This is a flagrant violation of privacy,” said a spokesperson for Lawrence. “The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”
Justice and Grande have both described the images as fake, while Upton’s representative is “looking into” the pictures.
