Love Island: Controversial kissing takes places in game of truth and dare

Your support helps us to tell the story

My recent work focusing on Latino voters in Arizona has shown me how crucial independent journalism is in giving voice to underrepresented communities.

Your support is what allows us to tell these stories, bringing attention to the issues that are often overlooked. Without your contributions, these voices might not be heard.

Every dollar you give helps us continue to shine a light on these critical issues in the run up to the election and beyond

Love Island continued tonight, with the fourth series' first recoupling ceremony taking place.

Adam pre-warned Kendall he planned to ditch her, before swiftly bounding off to kiss new partner Rosie by the fire pit. Kendall became the first person to leave the show this year, though three new contestants were teased who will be introduced as a surprise on Sunday night.

Thursday's edition saw the relentlessly spurned Dr. Alex finally get his first date of the series with newcomer Rosie, while Niall and Georgia sat a few feet away from them, getting straight to the meat of any stirring intellectual conversation: how does she feel about chicken dippers?

Clearly, the answer pleased Niall enough, as he launched straight into a kiss, which caused ripples of shock across the villa (that's all it takes).

Cut to Hayley angrily asserting that you "can't trust anyone" and referring to the whole business as a "game", despite having already scolded Eyal for using exactly the same terminology.

Love Island: Dr Alex and Naill's dates with the new arrivals go well

A game of 'Truth or Dare' then resulted in the bombshell that Jack would re-couple with Hayley if he had the chance, which ended up with Dani in floods of tears trying to rekindle her relationship with Jack. "It’s not that I don’t like you," she wept. “It’s just I worry because you’re what I know.” Jack was quick to reply: "Sometimes stick to what you know."

Love Island continues weekday nights on ITV2 at 9pm.

Interesting how Kendall is consumed with wanting to preserve her dignity in the villa, having yesterday competitively crushed watermelons with her butt while wearing a cape

I love Dani she's so pure

Christopher Hooton8 June 2018 21:21

I also can't wait for her dad's inevitable visit to the villa

There is really no limit to the scenes this show will set sappy love songs too. Like someone is just rearranging the su loungers to Celine Dion

Kendall has just learned that there is no taking it slow on Love Island. One must be willing to give it up by ~day 3

I love that literally just playing the game as intended constitutes being a snake. This show is starved of a villain so Adam has been thrown under the bus

Christopher Hooton8 June 2018 21:32

Incidentally, the last time Adam was thrown under a bus, the bus shattered into a thousand pieces and he walked away unscathed

*Awakes from slumber* The girls are discussing Brexit!!!!

"Does it mean we won't have cheese?"

"Does that mean it will be harder to go to Spain and stuff?"

Someone get Boris in there, these are the real questions facing the nation as it repositions in the European political landscape
