Radio DJ Dean McCullough will be facing the Bushtucker trial during Tuesday night’s episode following a public vote.
McCullough’s challenge, which sees him trapped in a box with creepy crawlies, comes after an emotional start to the 2024 series.
During one moving campsite chat in Monday night’s episode, boxer Barry McGuigan broke down in tears as he opened up about the loss of his daughter, Danika, while Coleen Rooney reflected on the death of her sister, who died when she was 14.
The episode also saw GK Barry become a fan favourite contestant when she successfully took on the “Vile Volcano” Bushtucker trial. Elsewhere, Rooney dished out juicy details surrounding her infamous “Wagatha Christie” trial, while the rest of the campmates started bonding.
Among this year’s contestants are N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos, Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall and Strictly Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse. Others include McFly singer Danny Jones, McGuigan and Rooney, who is the show’s highest-paid star in its history.

Tulisa reflects on her time in N-Dubz
When asked about her time in N-Dubz, Tulisa explained that aged 11, her uncle – Dappy’s dad – had said they should form a group together with Frazer, who was Dappy’s best friend at the time.
She explained: “My uncle offered me 20 quid and then I bartered him up to 50.”
Oti then asked what N-Dubz stands for, and Tulisa explained that the band is named after the postcode for North West London.
Tulisa explained that they formed the band when she was 11, but they were signed when she was 17 after years of graft in the studio.

When GK returned to camp and revealed her good news, her campmates started chanting “GK! GK! GK!”
McFly’s Danny Jones takes swipe at Busted
Danny Jones was in camp chatting about his band when he said McFly were “better” than their rivals Busted. He didn’t take it well when Dean told him that Busted was more popular with Radio 1 listeners.
GK Barry pulls off an impressive Bushtucker Trial
Completing the Bushtucker Trial, GK managed to collect an impressive 9 out of 10 stars for camp. What a performance.

GK Barry takes on the ‘vile volcano’
Since she was voted by the public to take on today’s Bushtucker Trial, GK Barry is given a pep talk by her fellow campmates before heading down to see Ant and Dec.
Explaining the Bushtucker Trial, Ant and Dec reveal that deep inside the volcano are a series of caves and tunnels which she must search in to find hidden stars. She’ll have 10 minutes to find all 10 stars, and as this is a Bushtucker Trial, she will not be alone in there...

Dean gets a fright in the loo
Dean got an awful fright while in the loo – when he realised he was sharing it with a huge spider.
He exclaimed: “It’s massive, oh my god it’s on the move! When people say I’m pooping my pants, I actually am!”
He then ran out of the loo with his trousers down, much to the amusement of Danny and Melvin, who were watching on.
