On Thursday, it will be Britney Spears sitting next to the ex-Gavin and Stacy star, the first trailer for which has hit the internet, leading to confusion among some fans.
Already, the Youtube comment section has swollen with claims the “Baby One More Time” singer is lip-syncing the words to “Toxic” in the minute-long clip.
“Britney will be the first human being to make a Karaoke lip-sync. Queen,” writes one commenter, while another notes how “disappointed” they are with the lack of singing.
However, one fan writes: “I feel like this is all a ploy to get people to watch, thinking she won't sing live, and then she will! ”
Whatever the case, when the full segment is released later this week it will no doubt ‘break the internet’, for an hour at least.
Meanwhile, Corden recently appeared on stage with Coldplay to pay tribute to Prince in LA.
