UK airports will also be busy over the festive period, with millions of passengers expected to pass through on midwinter trips.

If you're travelling around London this Christmas, here's everything you need to know:
Train operator GWR is urging customers to complete their journeys home for Christmas by today to avoid being stranded by engineering work.
Euston station in London has been evacuated following a security alert.
A Network Rail statement said: "Due to a reported emergency Euston station has been evacuated. We will keep you updated as soon as we have more information."
Euston station has now reopened, although passengers should expect delays for the next hour while services recover.
About 20 trains have been delayed as a result of the brief evacuation at Euston.
British Transport Police said: "Please be aware, Euston was evacuated following a report of suspicious package. It’s been reviewed and found to be a DAB Radio. No concerns."
The station has since reopened.
Flooding on the railway between Shepperton and Fulwell means that trains must run at a reduced speed. As a result, trains between these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes.
"We anticipate that disruption will continue until 18.00," says National Rail.
Southeastern is reminding passengers that there are no services running across the entire network on Boxing Day due to engineering work.
Southern is reminding passengers to check their journeys before travelling during the festive season, as an amended timetable is in place for much of the period between Christmas and New Year.
