Your support makes all the difference.Bitterly cold temperatures are swept the UK on Friday, alongside heavy snowfall, ice and freezing fog, particularly in western England.
Yellow warnings for snow and ice were in place across parts of the UK, with overnight temperatures falling to almost -13C in Scotland.
The Met Office warned that road and rail journeys could be disrupted due to the cold weather. Flights were also affected as airports struggled to clear snow.
Further snow and ice are expected.
Despite Manchester airport’s closure on Wednesday due to heavy snow, most services are operating as normal now.
Seven domestic services have been cancelled this morning: two BA flights to London Heathrow, a Flybe service to Glasgow, an American Airlines flight to Heathrow, and an unnamed airline’s service to Heathrow and two arrivals from Glasgow.
Bournemouth's runway was closed this morning but has reopened as of 9am. Passengers are advised to contact their airline for flight information.
Newquay Airport update: It will remain closed due to snow until at least 12pm. All arrivals and departures before then are cancelled.

The RAC is advising people not to drive today.
However, if you do need to head out in your car, here are its tips for being prepared.
Skyscanner has created two pages for travellers to check whether planes or trains are cancelled by snow.
The Skyscanner flight departure and arrivals board page provides travellers with real time information on arrivals and departures at UK airports.
The train station information board page allows travellers to check live departures and arrivals for UK train stations.
Southern services are affected by a points failure between Portsmouth Harbour and Fratton - fewer trains are able to run on this line.
Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Passengers are advised they may need to travel with South Western Railway for a portion of their journey.
Valid Southern tickets are permitted to travel at no additional cost on South Western Railway services between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant.
The Met Office has extended its weather warnings to include Saturday and Monday too.
From Friday at 1pm to Saturday at 11am, there is a yellow warning for ice across the south of England and Wales and the Midlands.
Between Friday at 12pm and Saturday at 12pm there's yellow snow and ice warning for west Wales, Northern Ireland, the north and east of Scotland, north-east of England and the East Midlands.
Between midnight and 2pm on Monday, snow and Ice will affect the Monday morning commute across parts of Scotland.
Possible effects include:
- Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
- Ice on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
- Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services in areas where snow continues for a time Friday afternoon and evening.
