From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Samsung unveiled a slew of new devices on Wednesday, including new phones, earbuds and smartwatches.

Most of the hardware had already been revealed in several major leaks ahead of Galaxy Unpacked 2020.

Regardless, the South Korean tech giant showed off the Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S7 tablet, Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Watch 3, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

Samsung followed Apple, Huawei and OnePlus by holding the event virtually online, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

There's more info on the 'Mystic Bronze' colour that has featured heavily in the promotional materials for the Note 20, new Galaxy Buds and Galaxy smartwatch.

Apparently it was designed to be gender fluid.

It's one of five 'Mystic' colours to feature on the new range of devices.

The Note 20 will come in Mystic Green, Mystic Gray and Mystic Bronze, while the Note 20 Ultra can be coloured in Mystic Bronze, Mystic Black and Mystic White.

The Note 20's S Pen, which is one of the most popular features for users of the over-sized phone, has received a major upgrade. Latency has now been reduced to just 9 milliseconds, bringing the writing experience similar to that of an actual pen.

Samsung are making up for a lack of live audience with a backdrop of impossibly enthusiastic people from the "Samsung family". Applause is cut in as the new Tab S7 tablet is announced.

Here's how the Tab S7 looks, complete with its detachable keyboard and S Pen. It brings a "Windows PC experience to an Android tablet."

All these devices are designed to work seamlessly together, so users can switch between their phone, tablet and PC through the integration of Microsoft software into the Samsung ecosystem.
