My recent work focusing on Latino voters in Arizona has shown me how crucial independent journalism is in giving voice to underrepresented communities.
Your support is what allows us to tell these stories, bringing attention to the issues that are often overlooked. Without your contributions, these voices might not be heard.

Apple has unveiled a host of new products in another of its live streamed virtual events.
The headliner of the 14 September Apple Event was without doubt the new range of iPhones – iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max – which Apple described as its best and most powerful handsets to date.
The new Apple Watch Series 7 was also revealed, featuring a screen that curves around the edge of the watch face, as well as a new iPad.
New updates to Apple Fitness+ and new shows for Apple TV+ were also unveiled, plus details about the new operating systems for the Apple Watch, iPad and iPhone.
Rumours suggested that the company was preparing to launch new AirPods, though these did not materialise.
The online live stream of the event can be viewed right here, as well as covered, as it happened, in our live blog below.
Apple Watch Series 7 available ‘later this fall'
Here’s the updated Apple Watch lineup with the all new Series 7, which will be available “later this fall”.

Apple has updated its entry-level iPad and iPad Mini, with a whole range of improvements.
New iPad Mini unveiled
From the iPad to the iPad Mini: The new miniature version of Apple’s popular tablet receives a similar boost in specs to its larger counterpart.
It’ll come with 5G, improved cameras and new apps that include a translate app, which comes with iOS 15.
One of the most popular features, however, will be a little hole at the bottom. It now comes with a USBC port, which allows 10X faster data transfers and allows you to connect it to all sorts of external devices. Ultrasound anyone?
New Apple iPad price and specs
Price starts at $329 and it will be available from next week. Here’s all the specs:
New Apple iPad
The first piece of hardware we’re going to see today is the all-new iPad.
It includes an A13 bionic chip, which is apparently 20 per cent faster in every aspect of the chip compared to the A12.
This makes it six-times faster than the fastest Android tablet, Apple claims.
The camera has also had a big upgrade, with a new 12 megapixel ultrawide front camera.
The one place it hasn’t changed is the outside. You’d be hard pushed to distinguish it from any of its recent predecessors just by looking at it.
Apple TV+ shows coming soon
There’s too many shows to write down here, but you can see them all on the screen behind Cook here. We’ll have a proper post with all the shows later on.
Apple TV+ update
He starts us off with an update on Apple TV+.
There’ll be a host of new shows coming out over the next few weeks and months, including the second season of The Morning Show.
Tim Cook is on stage.
