Max Holloway halted Arnold Allen’s 12-fight win streak on Saturday, outpointing the Briton in the pair’s UFC Fight Night main event.

Former featherweight champion Holloway bounced back from his third loss to Alexander Volkanovski by beating Allen in Kansas City, where he was a unanimous-decision winner.

Meanwhile, Allen came up short as he looked to set up a title shot against reigning champion Volkanovski, landing numerous heavy strikes but failing to put down Hawaiian Holloway.

In fact, it was Allen who dropped to a knee in the frenzied final seconds of the fight, which Holloway won 49-46, 49-46, 48-47 on the scorecards.

Munhoz vs Gutierrez – Round 2

Munhoz misses with a winging right hook from southpaw. Gutierrez has also gone southpaw for the time being.

Now they switch back to orthodox as Munhoz backs up his opponent. Leg kicks land for both bantamweights, but little else of note at the moment.

Munhoz vs Gutierrez – Round 1

Nice counter jabs from Gutierrez as he moves backwards, then a spinning back fist! Good kicks from the American at the end of the round, too.

Munhoz vsGutierrez – Round 1

Both men stand orthodox. Munhz presses forward and lands a hard outside leg kick. He then misses with a head kick. Now Gutierrez kicks low successfully.

Munhoz blitzes the American, landing a left hook to knock him down! Gutierrez is stunned a bit, but he has his wits about him as Munhoz dives into full guard to throw ground and pound.

Gutierrez tries to throw up an armbar, but he does so to no avail. Now he tries for a leg lock as Munhoz shifts positions, but the Brazilian escapes and stands.

He takes Gutierrez’s back against the fence.

Just like Bill Algeo, Guida fakes a retirement.

“I tricked you guys, there ain’t no way I’m walking away yet,” he says.

Instead, he asks Garcia to trade gloves, complimenting the victor on his performance.

Rafa Garcia def. Clay Guida via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Guida’s gloves are coming off. Not another retirement tonight, surely...? Both Zak Cummings and Ed Herman retired after their clash earlier tonight!

Guida vs Garcia – Round 3

Garcia with a really positive spell now. He’s teeing off with jabs and hooks, with Guida backed up against the fence.

Guida does well to move away and back into the open.

We’ll go to the judges’ scorecards.

Guida vs Garcia – Round 3

Final round. Garcia steps in with a front kick and adds a jab over the top.

Both lightweights trade punches in close. They clinch, and Garcia unloads a few body shots.

The fighters separate now, and the crowd tries to get behind Guida. He shoots for a single-leg takedown, but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of energy behind it.

Garcia defends it with a guillotine attempt, but there’s nothing doing there either, and again they separate.
