Four press conferences, in four days, in four different cities, the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor media tour came to an end in London.

The night before, in New York City, McGregor had floundered, making a series of controversial comments in a night that many saw as something of a victory for Mayweather.

But in London, buoyed by the support of a large number of noisy Irish fans, McGregor enjoyed the better of the verbal exchanges at the Wembley Arena.

He taunted Mayweather and just about every member of his entourage, before once again telling Mayweather that he will win their August 26 super-fight within four rounds.

Mayweather then stood up to give his speech, but was drowned out by the sound of the London crowd, who were very much in McGregor’s corner.

Both men took part in a brief Q&A session before the press conference ended, although a hoarse Mayweather struggled to answer any questions.

Relive the fourth and final press conference below, and read a full report from the action here.

This is interesting: a change in format!

Tables are brought into the ring, and it looks like we're set for a UFC style presser. Mayweather is sat next to Ellerbe. McGregor is sat next to White. Each has a mic. There's a suit separating them.

Is this a concession to the UFC, perhaps, after last night's shambles? Or was this always on the cards?

Haha, this is becoming something of a running joke now.

Showtime head honcho Stephen Espinoza gets up to speak, and is drowned out first by boos, and then by loud chants of "WHO ARE YA!"

McGregor has completely ruined this poor bloke's public image.

A closer look at the stare down...

Dana is introduced and gets a standing ovation. He introduces McGregor and hands over the mic.

McGregor says it's nice to be close to his home. "I'm 29 today!" he says to huge cheers.

"Four years ago I fought in London in front of about 500 people. And now look where I am!"

"I'm going to quadruple my net worth for half a fight - sign me up! I don't need to elbow, I don't need to knee. And it's against this b****"

Mayweather takes out his phone. "Mate, you're 40, take that phone out of your hand like a kid!"

"He was wearing high heels like a b****!" McGregor continues. "You should have worn them on the first day, you stupid baldy t***!"

And then some banter with Ellerbe, and his incredibly strange choice of outfit (double denim, after a week of wearing some very smart suits).

The biggest laugh of the evening so far comes when McGregor simply points in Mayweather's face and laughs.

McGregor then turns his fire on Espinoza. The Showtime chief exec makes as if he's about to stand up, only to be told to sit down by the Irishman. He obliges.

McGregor is now picking out random members of Mayweather's entourage and insulting them. He eventually circles back to Mayweather, and calls him a b**** about five times. The crowd are loving it, and strike up a chant of 'PAY YOUR TAXES!'

McGregor laughs, before roaring: 'I am boxing!' He then taps Mayweather on the head, which gets Dana White a bit agitated. "Look at his peanut head!"

"Thank you London, it's now on!" McGregor says before lobbing his microphone across the stage.

He gets a huge reception.

That will take some beating!

Twitter's reaction to Conor McGregor's speech?

Basically this tweet, repeated about one million times.

Mayweather begins flattering Dana again. "I don't have to wear a suit. You don't have to wear a suit. We both have the most money."

He then tells him: "Dana you're a pimp. And this here is your ho." Which meets with a big laugh, to be fair. But it's not long before the Ole Ole Ole chants start again.

"Point to the quitter!" Mayweather instructs the crowd. They boo.

Mayweather then tells Espinoza to point towards the easy work. He refuses. McGregor howls with laughter.

Vithushan Ehantharajah14 July 2017 20:59

Oh FFS.

After all of his talk about diversity yesterday, Mayweather calls McGregor a f****t. Great. What a moron.

The crowd boo loudly.

Coach Kav has had enough.
