From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. The second Monday at Wimbledon is, arguably, the busiest day in tennis.

All 16 fourth-round matches at the All England Club are played on the same day, a schedule that will produce all eight male and all eight female quarterfinalists.

Venus Williams, a five-time Wimbledon champion playing for the 20th time at the grass-court major, will be first on Centre Court against 19-year-old Ana Konjuh.

Andy Murray will be second in the main stadium, followed by Roger Federer.

On No. 1 Court, Johanna Konta will be up first, followed by Rafael Nadal.

Novak Djokovic is third, for his match against the Frenchman Adrian Mannarino.

The remaining fourth-round matches will be played on the other show courts at the All England Club.

Nadal 3-6 4-6 6-3 6-4 5-5 Muller* (*denotes next server)

Nadal starts the game with a wayward forehand to put Muller within three points of victory. A netted backhand by the Spaniard makes it 0-30 before a sliced backhand by Muller goes wide. A double fault by Nadal brings up two match points for his opponent... but the fourth seed saves both of them with two service winners. A third unreturnable serve in a row brings up game point before an ace wins the game.

Simply unbelievable. What a champion.

Muller holds to love in double-quick time to make Nadal serve to stay in the match once more.

Muller goes 30-0 up courtesy of some supreme net play. The two players then trade forehand errors as the 16th seed brings up two game points... but he can't take either as he finds the net in consecutive points. Nadal sends a forehand well long before Muller makes a forehand error of his own to take the game back to deuce. Another dreadful forehand by the Luxembourgian gives Nadal his first break point of the set... but he can't take it as Muller fires down an ace down the T. A volleyed winner followed by another service winner rescue the game for the 34-year-old.

Muller starts the game with two aces and an unreturnable serve to rapidly bring up three game points. Nadal saves the first two with winners off both wings but he can't save the third as Muller fires down another service winner.

Nadal starts the game with a deft drop shot followed by an ace. The Spaniard misses a forehand to lose the next point but an unreturnable serve and an inside-out forehand winner seal an easy hold.

Huge serving from Muller brings up two game points. Nadal fends off the first with a dipping backhand pass before Muller nets a volley as he's pegged back to deuce. The world No 2 manufactures a break point as Muller sends a forehand long. Nadal can't take it, though, as he's passed at the net. He sees two more break points come and go before he brings up a fourth with a beautiful forehand up the line. Muller saves that too with an ace before a huge serve-forehand combo brings up game point... which he takes with another ace.

Nadal starts the game with a forehand error followed by a missed backhand smash. The Spaniard hits a couple of incredible winners to haul the game back to 30-30 but a forehand winner up the line from Muller brings up match point... WHICH NADAL SAVES AGAIN WITH A VOLLEY! The fifth seed brings up game point with a huge serve-forehand combo but Muller hauls the game back to deuce courtesy of some magnificent net play. Another volleyed winner from the the Luxembourgian brings up another match point... but AGAIN he squanders it with a shanked forehand. A failed drop-shot attempt by Muller gives Nadal game point... and the Spaniard takes it with an utterly ludicrous half-volley drop shot.

A rather uneventful game as Muller holds to 15 in no time at all.

Nadal* 3-6 4-6 6-3 6-4 11-12 Muller (*denotes next server)

A couple of Muller errors see him lose two of the first three points on his serve - but the Luxembourgian displays his steely determination as he wins the next three points to hold to 30.

Nadal 3-6 4-6 6-3 6-4 12-12 Muller* (*denotes next server)

Nadal finds himself under pressure again while serving as he goes 15-30 down. However, back-to-back aces followed by an unreturnable serve get the Spaniard out of trouble.
