Murray always planned to play in the mixed doubles after coming through his injury return at Queen’s unscathed, but initially struggled to find a partner for his SW19 return. But preliminary talks of an incredible partnership with 23-time Grand Slam champion Williams developed into a genuine proposition, and it was announced on Tuesday that they ill team up in an attempt to win the mixed doubles.
Murray and Williams needed to commit to the tournament by 11am, with the draw getting underway at midday. Follow the live action below.

UNBELIEVABLE - EDMUND WINS THE SECOND SET!
Verdasco double faults at deuce (after unsuccessfully challenging the first serve), but then he takes control of the point.
He hits a forehand down the line which Edmund barely gets back, but instead of putting away a simple volley, he lets the ball go and it lands flat on the sideline!
Crowd can't believe it, nor can Edmund... nor can I!
For the second set running, Verdasco has handed the initiative right into Edmund's hands. And it's a long way back now...
Both players have gone for a toilet break following the set's conclusion...

RESULTS UPDATE
Milos Raonic, the 2016 finalist, is through to the third round - he beat Robin Haase 7-6(1), 7-5, 7-6(4) and will play Stan Wawrinka's conqueror Reilly Opelka on Friday.
11th seed Daniil Medvedev is also through - he came from a set down to beat Australian qualifier Alexei Popyrin 6-7(6), 6-1, 6-4, 6-4.
Qualifier Jiri Vesely, who reached the fourth round last year, beat Pablo Cuevas 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-4, 6-4.
And Benoit Paire will play on Friday, as his opponent Miomir Kecmanovic retired hurt whilst two sets down.
