From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

The men’s Wimbledon singles finals will be fought out between Andy Murray and Milos Raonic on Sunday after the British No 1 saw off the lacklustre challenge of Tomas Berdych in under two hours, with Canadian Raonic beating Roger Federer in a thrilling five-set semi-final that swung in both directions. Murray now has the chance to win a third Grand Slam title, in his first ever final that is not against either Federer or Novak Djokovic. Re-live the action here.

*Murray 6-3 2-3 BerdychMurray gets the advantage on the Berdych serve and has a chance to forge ahead in this second set. His return is long and we return to deuce again. Berdych nets - Murray has another break chance - but Berdych aces to bring it back to deuce yet again. An ace gives the Czech the advantage, and he sees it out to go 3-2 up.

Thanks for joining us - be sure to return tomorrow for coverage of the women's final as Serena takes on Kerber, and then on Monday as Murray seeks to reclaim his title as he takes on Raonic. Ace.
