In the co-main event, Amanda Nunes (18-4) retained her women's bantamweight title with a first-round finish against Holly Holm (12-5), stopping the former champion with a head kick late in the round.
Meanwhile, Jorge Masvidal (34-13) created history by knocking out the previously undefeated Ben Askren (19-1, 1 NC) in five seconds, marking the fastest KO in UFC history.

UFC 239 takes place on the night of Saturday 6 July.
What time does it start?
The UFC 239 main card begins at 3am BST (10pm ET). The early prelims begin at 11pm BST (6pm ET), with the prelims getting underway at 1am (8pm ET).
How to watch
The fight will be shown live in the UK on BT Sport, with prelims being shown on BT Sport 1 and the main card on BT Sport Box Office at a cost of £19.95.

Meanwhile, former middleweight Santos is on a four-fight win streak. His last three victories have come since moving up to light heavyweight and they've all been KOs. You get the feeling that the 35-year-old can knock out anyone he touches, but can he touch Jones? The champ is so good at using his height and reach advantages to keep opponents at a distance and pick them off with varied, precise offence.
This is Jones' thirteenth title defence. He has the most wins and most finishes in light heavyweight history. Is Santos the man to stop him? We're about to find out. Five five-minute rounds for the light heavyweight title.
Jones throwing a variety of kicks to start the fight and Santos responds in kind. He hurts the champ with a stinging leg kick.
Santos misses with a head kick and a spinning body kick, then connects with a leg kick. Jones gets a hold of his challenger, but 'Marreta' is able to stay on his feet and gain some distance.
Santos comes at Jones with a flurry and knocks out the champion's mouthguard! Herb Dean returns it and the action resumes.
Santos is looking dangerous, folks. He's clipped Jones a few times, and 'Bones' has seemed a little troubled. A close first round.
Jones' finest attribute is his ability to make reads on opponents, adapt and improve. He may need to do that now, as Santos may well have won that first round.
Santos appears to hurt himself throwing a kick, but looks to have recovered. For a second there, he went for broke with a wild combination of punches in close.
