Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

"I'm a great guy, I try to do right by everybody.

"Finally to play for Coach Kingsbury, we've talked about it for a long time, I cant wait to get started," adds Murray.

"A quarterback-friendly offense, he knows what I'm capable of. He's supportive of who am I. It was the biggest thing.

"I don't really like to call it that (Air Raid offense). But it's explosive, it's hard to stop. It (the pink suit) is from my favourite movie the Great Gatsby, the green light and everything it brings."

"I grew up playing multiple sports, there's no reason to limit yourself to one sport, you can burn yourself out doing that.

"It's a surreal feeling, I'm so glad to go to the Cardinals. Everything happens for a reason. I'm ready to go."

The Buffalo Bills grab Ed Oliver, another elite defensive player, with the No 8 pick.

Could this be the guy to unsettle Tom Brady?

TRADE ALERT!

The Steelers move up to take the Broncos' pick.

Michigan LB Devin Bush is the guy they've made the move for at No 10.

To go up and get Bush at No 10, Pittsburgh give up: Pick 20, 52 and a 2020 third round pick.

The Cincinatti Bengals pick Jonah Williams out of Alabama at No 11.

The tackle should help Dalton try reverse their recent slide.

The Packers bolster their pass rush with Rashan Gary as their first of two first round picks.

Now the Miami Dolphins: Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson.

Another of the feared Clemson defense finds a new home then.

The Dolphins true to their plan after bringing in Fitzpatrick for their short term, they add a key defensive piece.
