England began the day in survival mode, needing 383 runs to win with Rory Burns and Joe Root already dismissed. Joe Denly and Jason Roy made a strong stand in the opening hour, however, Pat Cummins then tore through the top-order to leave England teetering on the brink.
Jack Leach and Craig Overton produced a valiant ninth-wicket partnership to leave Australia nervous with little over an hour of the fifth day remaining before part-time leg-spinner Marnus Labuschagne finally broke the deadlock. Josh Hazlewood trapped Stuart Broad lbw moments later to secure the urn. Follow all the reaction live:

Not without a scare but Denly survives the first over. Hazlewood bowls a maiden. Pat Cummins will open up from the Brian Statham End.
Jason Roy strides forward and defends his first ball. The crowd applaud.

Cummins has a short mid-wicket to Roy, he's there for the catch. Roy pushes hard at the ball as Cummins gets one to move away from his outside edge.
The follow up delivery is straighter and Roy pushes it off his legs in the air, mid-wicket dives for it but the ball is past him and it runs away for four runs.

Jason Roy solidly defends the rest of the over and the crowd give him a loud round of applause.

Denly plays at a ball that Hazlewood nibbles away from him and he misses it. The next ball comes in to Denly and he inside edges the ball onto his pads.

Joe Denly is away, he watches the ball onto the bat and defends it into the offside for a single.
Roy keeps out his first delivery from Hazelwood and the crowd applaud again as another over ticks by.

Tim Paine has put a man on the drive for Joe Denly. Cummins brings him forward first ball and Denly drives but the ball lands short of the fielder.
Denly's pads are in action again, Pat Cummins with the nip-backer. Australia beg Marais Erasmus to give it out but he shakes his head.
No review from Paine, who thinks it's going down the legside. Hawkeye shows that it is.

There are mini battles every over Denly survives his against Cummins. The new battle is Roy vs Hazlewood.
Roy is hit on the front pad as he strides forward. It's going down the leg side. Roy leaves as Hazlewood over corrects and bowls one outside the off stump.

Roy pushes the ball away to fine leg as Hazlewood strays onto his pads once again. He looks like he's concentrating immensely hard out there.

Cummins cuts Roy in two. The ball comes back into Roy off the pitch and Roy has a huge gap in between bat and pad that the ball shoots through. Pat Cummins gives Roy a wry smile.
