From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Morocco have already been eliminated from the World Cup 2018 which leaves the door open for Spain to take advantage and qualify as group winners. They are level on points and goal difference with Portugal and will face either Russia or Uruguay in the round of 16.
Lucas Vazquez came in for Koke against Iran but could be dropped in place of the Atletico Madrid midfielder or Marco Asensio.
Morocco conceded an early Cristiano Ronaldo goal in their 1-0 defeat to Portugal but frustrated the 2016 European Champions with their deep defending.

Prediction
Spain could be tempted to rest players like Andreas Iniesta, David Silva and Diego Costa. Regardless of who plays, Spain will have more than enough to ease past Morocco.
81 mins: GOAL! SPAIN 1 MOROCCO 2:
Something has happened inKaliningrad! Morocco lead Spain again courtesy of a thumping header from Youssef En-Nesyri! Faycal Fajr curled over a corner from the right and the young striker, who plays his football in Spain with Malaga, rose above everyone to power an effort into the top corner.
83 mins: VAR REVIEW! IRAN 0 PORTUGAL 1:
As Spain were falling behind in Kaliningrad, Cristiano Ronaldo was breathing a huge sigh of relief in Saransk. The Portugal captain was being scrutinised by video review after clashing with Morteza Pouraliganji as the pair chased a ball played down the left wing. As Ronaldo attempted to shrug off the defender, he caught him in the face with part of his arm, leading the VAR officials to implore referee Enrique Caceres to consult the monitors on the touchline for a possible red card offence. Caceres took his time, lots of time, eventually returning to the pitch to flash a yellow card in the direction of Ronaldo. A winning night almost turned to disaster.
90+2 mins: VAR REVIEW! SPAIN 1 MOROCCO 2:
We have a Spain disallowed goal being reviewed in Kaliningrad...
90+2 mins: VAR REVIEW! IRAN 0 PORTUGAL 1:
...and we have a penalty appeal being reviewed in Saransk!
90+1 mins: GOAL! SPAIN 2 MOROCCO 2:
The goal is given and Spain have equalised through Iago Aspas! In the first minute of injury time, Daniel Carvajal delivered a right-footed cross into the area for Aspas, off the bench for Diego Costa, to execute an audacious back-heeled flick beyond Monir. The linesman's flag on the far side went up immediately, but replays show that a defender was level with the Spanish substitute. Referee Ravshan Irmatov was summoned to the monitors, and ultimately returned to award the goal. An equaliser for Spain which means they will top Group B if Iran equalise in Saransk.
90+3 mins: GOAL! IRAN 1 PORTUGAL 1:
The penalty is given and Karim Ansarifard equalises from the spot! Of all the ridiculous decisions tonight, and there have been plenty, this may be the worst. Cedric Soares has been penalised for a handball after he was beaten to an aerial challenge and the ball dropped down on to his arm by his side. Once again, Enrique Cáceres saw nothing wrong with the incident at the time but, incredibly, is prompted to award a penalty after consulting the video replays.
90+5 mins: Iran 1 Portugal 1:
What a chance! Iran could have won it to book their place in the last 16, knocking out Portugal in the process, but Mehdi Taremi slams his shot into the side netting! It's chaos in Group B!
