Your support makes all the difference.France won the World Cup for the second time in their history after defeating Croatia 4-2 in a dramatic and controversial final in Moscow.
In a match that just about had everything, France became only the sixth nation to win the World Cup more than once, with Croatia missing out on the opportunity to win their first world crown. With six goals, a VAR-awarded penalty, a politically-motivated pitch invasion and one of te youngest squads to achieve greatest, there was no shortage of talking points.
France took the lead when Mario Mandzukic headed into his own net only for Ivan Perisic to bring the game to life with an equaliser. However, he was penalised for handball in his own area and Antoine Griezmann converted the penalty, before Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe completed the win for France - though captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris still had time for a howler to gift Croatia a consolation goal.

Prediction
France 2-1 Croatia (AET). This will be closer than people think as Croatia will have nothing but solid belief considering their route to the final, whereas France will have the doubts in the back of their mind from what happened at Euro 2016.
Odds
France: 9/10
Croatia: 4/1
Draw (after 90 minutes): 9/4
24 mins: France unhappy with the referee as he gives them an advantage that evaporated and Croatia go on to have a chance of their own that Rakitic volleys high and wide.
27 mins: As anticipated France have had the majority of play since the goal, but Croatia now looking dangerous on the break. Perisic felled on one of those counter attacks and its N'Golo Kante the first to go into the referee's book. He'll need to be careful now
29 mins: GOAL! France 1-1 Croatia (Ivan Perisic)
It's a Modric free kick that's worked well out to his right, headed to Mandzukic who heads down into the melee into the penalty area, Perisic comes in from the edge of the box and fires it powerfully, with a slight deflection taking it away from Hugo Lloris. GAME ON!
32 mins: The game needed that Perisic goal, just as France looked to be getting a grip on proceedings. Now it's all to play for once again...
36 mins: French corner, they've got a bit of the English love train going on. Dangerous delivery and it looks as though the ball may have hit the hand of Perisic. It's an official VAR review! Drama!
Talking of Perisic here's his goal from different angles whilst we wait for the decision
36 mins: PENALTY to France in the World Cup final! It's awarded by the referee after consulting VAR. History. Subasic to be the hero and save yet another penalty?
39 mins: GOAL! France 2-1 Croatia (Antoine Griezmann pen)
It takes an absolute age from the VAR decision for the referee to calm the Croatian players down and get Subasic back behind his line, before Griezmann is the coolest man in the Luzhniki stadium rolling his penalty into the net.
Unfortunate for Croatia as the handball looked far from clear and obvious.
