Follow live coverage as Wolverhampton Wanderers face Nottingham Forest today in the Premier League. Another top-flight season will be covered in full right here with The Independent, as reigning champions Manchester City look to make it an unprecedented five titles in a row come the end of 2024/25.

The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will be chasing Pep Guardiola's side, but just as fascinating will be the race for Champions League places, with more teams than ever before having designs on top-four finishes. Chelsea remain big-spending, Manchester United's latest rebuild continues and both Tottenham and Newcastle will expect improvements this year - yet it was Aston Villa who snared fourth last term.

Meanwhile, it's Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Nottingham Forest

There's the final whistle, as Nottingham Forest add a late polish in the form of Awoniyi's last-gasp goal to rubber-stamp a 3-0 victory over Wolves at Molineux! Trailing 2-0 at the break, the hosts had a fight on their hands in the second half, but produced just 1.57 xG as Larsen's shot was saved by Sels and Murillo denied Bellegarde in their only real chances. Forest still looked to add to their lead at the other end though, generating 2.20 xG of their own, and after Anderson and Hudson-Odoi both missed from close range, the latter was instrumental in teeing up the third for Awoniyi in injury time as the Reds put Wolves to the sword. It leaves the hosts languishing in a relegation battle, while Forest continue their remarkable campaign in the upper reaches of the Premier League table, drawing level with second-placed Arsenal following their sixth victory on the spin!

CHANCE!! Doherty can't deal with a long ball forward and collides with Sa and Awoniyi in the box as all three hit the deck, but the referee points for a throw in rather than a penalty to give the Wolves skipper a reprieve.

Wolves win another free-kick on the right which Sarabia swings into the area, but the ball just won't sit up for either Lemina, Bueno or the Spaniard to strike and Forest eventually clear their lines.
