Follow live coverage as Wolverhampton Wanderers face Newcastle United in the Premier League today.

It hasn’t been a good start to the campaign for the hosts in terms of points accrued, but Bruno Lage might be pleased by some of their displays despite taking a point from three games - and having scored only once. There were signs of fine link play between Goncalo Guedes, Matheus Nunes and Pedro Neto at times last week and all three start today, with Raul Jimenez also back in.

Newcastle beat Nottingham Forest on the opening day and have since drawn with Brighton and Man City, leaving them as one of five unbeaten teams in the Premier League. A win for them today would lift them into fourth ahead of Tottenham’s game later on. Eddie Howe has brought Sean Longstaff and Chris Wood into his team, which is otherwise unchanged.

We will bring you all the action and updates from today's game in the live blog below:

Saint-Maximin scores stunner as Newcastle earn late draw at Wolves

If it was supposed to be the day Alexander Isak made his debut, the £60 million man, the statement of intent, the manifestation of Newcastle’s buying and pulling power instead stared on from the stands. United’s attention was eventually diverted to the crowd-pleasing talent already in their ranks and, with explosive panache, Allan Saint-Maximin extended their unbeaten start to the season.

As Eddie Howe was without his two premier strikers, with Callum Wilson injured and Isak awaiting a work permit, the Frenchman instead offered a reminder that, even in the darkest and dullest of days under Steve Bruce, he offered the prospect of entertainment. His goals may be too infrequent but a first of the season was memorable and magnificent, a sweetly-struck volley that flew past Jose Sa.

It was almost followed by a winner, with a ferocious shot Sa parried and the young substitute Elliott Anderson hitting the bar still deeper into stoppage time. While depleted, with Bruno Guimaraes also sidelined, Newcastle were not defeated. A comeback felt proof of the spirit imbued by Howe, whose side have only lost two of their last 12 league games, and even then just to Manchester City and Liverpool.

That late equaliser means Wolves are still waiting for their first win of the season. They're only four games in of course, but they were within touching distance of three points in this game, only being denied thanks to a moment of magic. Meanwhile, it's three draws in a row for Newcastle, who are still looking to find that cutting edge in the final third, which likely will see them turn one point into three more often than not.

It was a frustrating game for him at times, but Allan Saint-Maximin waited right until the very end to show exactly how valuable he is to this Newcastle side. Alongside that brilliant equaliser, he had five shots with three on target; produced 21 passes in the final third, creating one key chance; contested 14 duels, including via nine dribbles, and won the ball five times, including twice in the final third. He is undoubtedly the Magpies' star player, and record signing Alexander Isak will have to make some impact if he's to challenge for that crown.

Well, what a finish to one hell of a game! After being unlucky not to have scored in the first half, Newcastle finally got their goal 10 minutes from the end, with Saint-Maximin's cracker of a volley ensuring the points are shared at Molineux. Wolves were arguably the better team for much of the second half, but Newcastle had a glut of late chances, one of which was placed home superbly by their mercurial Frenchman. 10 minutes of injury time followed, but no more goals as it finishes 1-1; the hosts still waiting for that maiden win this season.
