Coufal is being challenged defensively but is having a lot of joy in the attack. He chests the ball past Elanga and sends a searching cross into the box, but it is just beyond Bowen in the middle.

Toffolo plays a ball down the right and slides a pass down the wing to Elanga, who wins a corner off Coufal. Gibbs-White looks for options in the middle, but Areola punches it away. Although nothing comes of the attack, Forest will be encouraged by Elanga's ability to challenge Coufal, who is on a yellow card.

Coufal has space on the right and he lofts a deep cross over to Paquetá at the back of the box. He shapes to shoot on the volley but instead attempts to play a pass inside, allowing Forest to clear the ball away.

Kudus rolls past Toffolo before being pushed in the back by Mangala. West Ham still have possession, but the referee gives a free-kick. Moyes wanted the game to continue with his team on the ball.

West Ham were by far the better team in the opening 10 minutes, but Forest are starting to grow into the game and are keeping possession well. Awoniyi looks to poke a fast throughball into the path of Elanga, but his pass is intercepted.

Murillo was defending against Paqueta and slips in front of him before Vlachodimos made a simple save. He seems hurt and needs medical attention, but will be fine to continue.

Niakhate has a throw-in on the left, but it is poor and West Ham break away with speed. Kudus rushes through the middle and has Ward-Prowse to his right but decides to go to Paqueta on his left. He looks to score his second goal of the game, but his effort is tame. Ward-Prowse is frustrated that the ball didn't go to him.

SAVE! What a stop from Areola. Gibbs-White's cross from the right is heavy, but Elanga does well to recover it on the other side before rolling a pass back to Toffolo. He then curls a cross onto the head of Awoniyi, who has his effort pushed away by Areola.

Coufal darts down the right with possession and plays a quick one-two with Kudus. He is up against Elanga, with the Forest man doing well to force the ball out for a goal-kick. Coufal is furious with the referee as he thinks West Ham should have a corner.
