Follow live coverage as West Ham United face Crystal Palace in the Premier League today.

Manchester City are reigning champions after beating Liverpool to the finish line in a neck-and-neck 2021/22 title race where a comeback win on the final day of the season against Aston Villa secured a fourth title in five years for Pep Guardiola's side.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds were on course for a quadruple last season but were forced to settle for just an FA Cup and Carabao Cup win and will return trying to win the title again just as they did in 2020.

It was a dramatic season for Chelsea a year ago with Roman Abramovich now replaced by Todd Boehly as owner in west London. He will want an instant return on his hefty investment at Stamford Bridge while Tottenham, back in the Champions League, will want to kick on once more too.

It's not all about the action at the top though with Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest promoted to the top tier for 2021/22 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

We will bring you all the action and updates from today's game in the live blog below:

West Ham United vs Crystal Palace

Despite scoring first, West Ham will be disappointed with their first half display. Winning their last three successive games at the London Stadium, Moyes’ team have had just three shots in the opening 45 minutes, with Benrahma’s goal the only one they have had on target. Mitchell has kept Bowen quiet, with Scamacca struggling to make an impact. For Palace, they have controlled most of the match, but have failed to seriously trouble Fabianski apart from the goal. Shots have gone straight at the Poland international, with the Hammers doing well to get bodies behind the ball.

Zaha cancelled out Benrahma’s superb opener to level the score going into the break. Palace started the brightest out of the two sides, but it was the home team that took the lead. Back in the side after injury, summer signing Paqueta slide the ball into the path of Benrahma who shrugged off Ayew before lashing it past Guaita from outside the box. Still, Palace had most of the opportunities, with Doucoure and Schlupp having tame efforts saved before Zaha equalised. Kehrer was caught on the ball, with Eze tacking the defender before playing it towards Zaha. Frustrated for most of the first half, the attacker protected the ball inside the box before drilling it beyond Fabianski.
